The CD/Manual package includes an audio recording of a live seminar on CDs, along with a bound copy of the manual that was distributed at the seminar. The manual contains written materials prepared by the seminar speaker(s).

The CDs contain embedded number codes, which you are required to document and return to HalfMoon if you wish to obtain a certificate of completion for the program. The acceptance of self-administered continuing education activities vary widely between states and professions. Before undertaking any self-study effort, you should review the rules of your licensing/certifying entity.

Phil Hull

Training Center Director at Community Housing Partners
Mr. Hull is a BPI HEP Quality Control Inspector, BPI HEP Energy Auditor, HERS Rater and BPI-certified Building Analyst Professional, Envelope Professional, Heating Professional, and Residential Building Envelope Whole House Air Leakage Control Crew Chief. He joined CHP Energy Solutions in 2010. Mr. Hull has a master’s degree in Building Science from Appalachian State University, and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology Management from Berea College. He co-managed the Piedmont Non-Profit Weatherization Assistance Program and was a contractor for the infrastructure program in North Carolina. Mr. Hull has also performed audits on both residential and light commercial buildings.

Mr. Simon is a project manager and trainer. He is a BPI HEP Quality Control Inspector, BPI HEP Energy Auditor, BPI HEP Crew Leader, BPI HEP Retrofit Installer Technician, HERS Rater, BPI-certified Building Analyst Professional, Envelope Professional, Heating Professional, and Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Professional. He earned a Virginia general contractor’s license and has an extensive background in business management, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Mr. Simon joined CHP Energy Solutions in early 2011. He has 15 years of experience in the construction industry ranging from general laborer to project manager.
