Continuing Education Credit Information

This seminar is open to the public and offers up to 6.5 HSW continuing education hours to architects and 6.5 PDHs to professional engineers in North Dakota. Continuing education is not required of North Dakota architects. HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for North Dakota professional engineers.

This seminar is approved by the American Institute of Architects for 6.5 HSW Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885). Partial attendance cannot be reported to the AIA.

Architects and engineers seeking continuing education credit in other states will be able to apply the hours earned at this seminar, in most cases. Refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.

The International Code Council has approved this event for .65 CEUs in the specialty area of Building.

This seminar also offers a non-credit continuing education opportunity for construction contractors; it has not been approved by any licensing entities for contractors.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.


Richard DeBrunner

ICC Certified Building Inspector, Plans Examiner and ICC/AACE Code Enforcement Administrator
Mr. DeBrunner is the principal of Nodak Inspections, a private firm providing independent inspection services in a variety of building construction aspects. With numerous ICC certifications and years of field experience in both residential and commercial construction, he brings a practical perspective of Code interpretation. Mr. DeBrunner is a member of the International Code Council and the American Association of Code Enforcement. He is constantly improving his skills with continuing education and seeking to further his base of knowledge through certification and experience. Mr. DeBrunner takes pride in helping his community achieve its potential in a safe and structured environment.
