Continuing Education Credit Information

This seminar is open to the public and offers 7.0 PDHs to professional engineers and 7.0 HSW continuing education hours to architects and landscape architects in most states, including Pennsylvania.  Educators and courses are not subject to pre-approval in Pennsylvania.

This seminar is approved by the American Institute of Architects for 7.0 HSW Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885) and the Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System for 7.0 HSW PDHs. Only full attendance can be reported to the AIA/CES and LA/CES.

Engineers, architects and landscape architects seeking continuing education credit in other states will be able to claim the hours earned at this seminar, in most cases.  HalfMoon Education is deemed an approved continuing education sponsor for New York architects and landscape architects.  HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for engineers in Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey (Approval No. 24GP00000700), New York (NYSED Sponsor No. 35), North Carolina, and North Dakota.

The Association of State Floodplain Managers has approved this seminar for 7.0 CECs for certified floodplain managers.

This course offers a non-credit continuing education opportunity to construction contractors.

Attendance will be monitored and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event.  Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.

Speakers:

Mark D. Jones, PE

Principal, Hartech Engineering & Consulting, LLC

Mr. Jones, P.E., is president of Hartech Engineering, which was founded in 2007 as a multi-discipline civil engineering consulting firm providing infrastructure, development and municipal design services for the public and private sectors. Bringing over 30 years of engineering expertise along with specific state-of-the-art, computer-aided technology to achieve efficient, cost saving design solutions, he also provides hydrology and hydraulic studies and reports along with general civil engineering support for prime consultants to PennDOT or local municipality projects. Mr. Jones is a licensed pilot and studied Military Civil Engineering while serving in the USAF and continues his masters education locally through Penn State. Additionally, he is also a registered professional engineer in the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Arizona and Georgia.
