Continuing Education Credit Information

This seminar is open to the public and offers 6.5 PDHs to engineers in all states and 6.5 HSW CEUs/continuing education hours to architects in all states, except Florida architects.  This course also offers 6.5 CEUs to Missouri landscape architects.  Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Missouri.

This seminar is approved by the American Institute of Architects for 6.5 HSW Learning Units (Provider No. J885), and it is approved by the Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System for 6.5 HSW PDHs.  Only full attendance can be reported to the AIA/CES and to LA/CES.

HalfMoon Education is deemed an approved continuing education sponsor for New York architects.  HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for engineers in Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey (Approval No. 24GP00000700), New York (NYSED Sponsor No. 35), North Carolina, and North Dakota.

The Association of State Floodplain Managers has approved this event for 6.5 CECs.

This course offers a non-credit continuing education opportunity to construction contractors.  It has not been approved by any state contractor licensing entity for mandatory continuing education credit.

Attendance will be monitored and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.


Katherin Steinbacher

CFS Engineers
Ms. Steinbacher is a professional engineer with over 20 years of experience specializing in stormwater management and erosion and sediment control issues.  She regularly consults for contractors, developers, industry, and municipalities at the state and federal levels.  Ms. Steinbacher has been responsible for the preparation and implementation of numerous stormwater pollution preventionplans (SWPPPs) for projects throughout the United States.  She is a graduate of the University of Kansas.  Ms. Steinbacher is a nationally recognized speaker on stormwater management and erosion control topics.
