This seminar is open to the public and offers 7.0 continuing professional education hours/PDHs to professional engineers and land surveyors in most states, including Utah. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Utah.

Paul Wheeler

Utah Department of Transportation

Mr. Wheeler is part of the Technology Advancement Team serving as the lead unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) Coordinator at the Utah Dept. of Transportation. He has worked in many capacities within UDOT for the past 20 years as survey technology advisor, lead of the 3D visualization group, CADD support specialist, and construction surveyor. Mr. Wheeler is an instrument-rated private pilot and is working on fostering innovation through the use of unmanned aircraft systems.
