Mr. Welch is the technical & business development manager for Profile Products, LLC, of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Mr. Welch heads up Profile Products Free Soil Testing program and online design software – Profile Soil Solutions Software (www.ProfilePS3.com). He works closely with specifiers to ensure that all erosion and sediment control plans, involving Profile’s line of products, will have a high rate of success. Mr. Welch holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Conservation and Environmental Sciences from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, with an emphasis on land resources and soil science. During and after college, he worked at an engineering and consulting firm out of Green Bay, WI. The firm he worked with was heavily involved in projects with erosion control and reclamation of land, many of which were on linear transmission line projects. This experience ultimately led to a smooth transition into the technical department at Profile Products. Mr. Welch is also a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA).

Stephen R. Zwilling

Mr. Zwilling is the Eastern U.S. market development manager for Profile Products, LLC, of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He has 23 years of experience in erosion and sediment control and turfgrass management. Mr. Zwilling has written several technical articles in industry trade publications on hydraulically-applied erosion control systems and applications. He was a prior owner/partner of the Conwed Fibers Corporation.

Mr. Zwilling holds a bachelor of science degree in Marketing Management from Pepperdine University. He is a past board member of the Erosion Control Technology Council (ECTC) and a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA), and he is on the Board of Directors of the Mid Atlantic IECA. Mr. Zwilling has been a volunteer instructor at several industry events including the IECA Muddy Water Blues and NCSU Erosion Control Field Days, and at several water resource workshops in the eastern United States and Canada.
