Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.


Certificates of completion will be provided for each webinar attended and will be sent via email in PDF form about five business days after the conclusion of the series.


Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. It is highly recommended that you download, install and test the application before the webinar begins by clicking on the link in the email.

These live, interactive webinars are designed to qualify for continuing education credit for professional engineers and architects in most states. Mr. Gipe is a Kentucky native who grew up in Owensboro. He attended the University of Kentucky and Murray State University (MSU) and graduated from MSU with a BS degree in Occupational Safety and Health in 1996. In 2002 Mr. Gipe, started SafetyCraig Consulting. He is one of only a few consultants in the state who hold the CSP certification. SafetyCraig Consulting is an organization focused on providing high-quality occupational health and safety management services for industrial and construction organizations and businesses. The mission of the organization is to help companies reduce incidents and accidents through implementation of modern safety management systems. Course Description: This 2.0 hour live, interactive webinar instructs on the safe use of elevated platforms, ladders, stairways, guardrails, fall arrest systems, excavation, and trench construction for construction sites.

Learners will be able to comply with OSHA requirements for the safe use of elevated platforms and stairways on construction sites.

Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to comply with OSHA requirements for the safe set-up and use of ladders on construction sites.

Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to follow OSHA regulations on the use of guardrail systems and fall arrest systems on construction sites.

Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to follow OSHA regulations on the use of excavation equipment use and protection systems for construction site trenches.
