Webinar Instructions

Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.


Certificates of completion will be provided for each webinar attended and will be sent via email in PDF form about five business days after the conclusion of the series.


Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. It is highly recommended that you download, install and test the application before the webinar begins by clicking on the link in the email.

Continuing Education Credit Information

This online live, intermediate level lecture presentation offers 8.0 CPE hours in the area of taxation to accountants. A basic knowledge of federal taxation is recommended, and no advance preparation is required.

Yana Feldman

Principal Attorney and Founder at Yana Feldman & Associates, PLLC

Ms. Feldman is the founder and principal attorney of Yana Feldman & Associates, PLLC, a boutique estate planning and elder law firm located in Brooklyn, New York. After earning her BA degree in Anthropology at the University of Chicago, and her JD degree at Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Ms. Feldman returned to New York and has been practicing in the field of estate planning and eder law. Her practice encompasses estate planning for multiple generations, drafting documents such as advanced directives, wills and trusts, as well as crafting long term care plans, assisting clients with Medicaid eligibility and applications, special needs planning and guardianship, business succession planning, and assisting clients with estate and trust administration.

Besides practicing law, Ms. Feldman has served as legal director of the Veneration Project, focusing on building stable inter-generational communities by helping older adults and their families navigate the practical aspects of aging. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the JCC of Brooklyn/Kings Bay Y, where she focuses on establishing a planned giving program for the agency. Ms. Feldman speaks fluent Russian and presents Russian language resources on Medicaid, SSI, and estate planning for the Russian speaking senior population in Brooklyn. Ms. Feldman lives in South Slope, Brooklyn, with her husband and twin daughters.
