Webinar Instructions

Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion will be provided for each webinar attended and will be sent via email in PDF form about five business days after the conclusion of the series.

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Continuing Education Credit Information

This webinar offers 7.0 PDHs to professional engineers and 7.0 HSW continuing education hours to architects in all states.

Director of Licenses & Inspection for Upper Darby Township

Mr. Gentile grew up in the Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania where he still resides. He studied engineering at Albright College and Penn State University and earned a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. He is also a Pennsylvania licensed professional engineer. He currently serves as the Director of Licenses and Inspection and Community Development for Upper Darby Township, a position he has held for more than 20 years. He is a certified Pennsylvania UCC plan reviewer and inspector in multiple disciplines including building, accessibility, plumbing, mechanical and energy codes.

Course Description: This course examines the development, enforcement and applicability of the International Plumbing Code, how to obtain approval and permits, and provisions for fixtures and water heaters, water supply and distribution, sanitary drainage, vents, stacks, storm drainage, piping, non-potable systems, and irrigation.

Learners will be able to explain the applicability of the International Plumbing Code, discuss how approvals and permits are obtained, and be able to participate in special inspections.

Learners will be able to reference and discuss compliance standards for Code provisions covering plumbing fixtures and water heaters.

Learners will be able to reference and discuss compliance standards for Code provisions covering water supply and distribution, sanitary drainage, and indirect/special waste.

Learners will be able to reference and discuss compliance standards for Code provisions covering vents, traps, interceptors, storm drainage, special piping and storage systems, non-potable systems, and subsurface landscape irrigation systems.
